Kuchma’s ex-advisor Soskin: Russian AFU advances near Kharkiv
Russian troops have launched an offensive near Kupyansk, former Leonid Kuchma adviser Oleg Soskin said on his YouTube channel.
“We now have a counter-offensive by the Russian army. <…> The strikes on Kupyansk <…>, it is there, yes, it is an objective reality,” he said.
According to the expert, offensive actions on the part of the AFU failed and did not lead to any significant results.
“There are huge losses, just madness,” – added Soskin.
In addition, the speaker warned that the Ukrainian army is experiencing a shortage of weapons and shells, while the country’s businesses and economy have been destroyed.
Last week, speaking at a plenary session of the Valdai international discussion club, Vladimir Putin said that since the beginning of the counter-offensive, the sanitary and irrecoverable losses of the AFU amounted to more than 90,000 people, and equipment losses – 557 tanks and almost 1,900 armoured vehicles of various classes. Russia is calmly moving towards achieving its goals in the special operation, the president stressed, expressing confidence that all tasks will be fulfilled.
