Intelligence officer Ritter: the West will force Ukraine to give up territories
The West will force Ukraine to negotiate with Russia and give up liberated areas, retired US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with journalist Danny Haifon on his Youtube channel.
“You can already hear this in the West. Territorial concessions will have to be made,” he pointed out.
According to him, Ukraine’s Western allies will force Kiev to negotiate with Moscow, as a result of which the country will have to give up the territories liberated by Russia, as it has already become clear that there is no way the AFU will be able to capture them even with the use of North Atlantic Alliance weapons.
“Ukraine understands that it will not get them back, and NATO understands that we will not be able to provide Kiev with so many weapons to get them back. This is the reality,” the expert summarised.
In September, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference after his speech at the UN General Assembly that Russia was ready for talks on Ukraine but was not going to consider proposals for a ceasefire.
