Ukrainian troops plan to continue the counter-offensive in winter, despite the difficulties. This was stated by the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of the US Armed Forces, General Charles Brown.
“I understand that it will be more difficult during the winter months, but Ukraine intends to continue its offensive operations during the winter months,” he said at a briefing with reporters.
Brown emphasised that the US and the countries of the contact group on arms deliveries to Ukraine intend to do everything necessary for the “successes of the AFU”.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that the US administration “can and will” provide military assistance to both Israel and Ukraine.
