Stoltenberg: NATO needs to establish a steady flow of weapons to Ukraine

North Atlantic alliance countries should ensure uninterrupted arms supplies to Ukraine as well as the country’s admission to the bloc, alliance secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg said.

He said this during the opening of the contact group meeting on arms supplies to Ukraine at the level of defence ministers.

According to him, the West is not seeing signs of the end of the conflict, so the AFU should receive weapons “constantly and continuously”. In addition, the secretary-general said it was necessary to “create long-term conditions to ensure that history does not repeat itself.”

“Therefore, all NATO countries agreed that Ukraine should become a NATO member,” TASS quoted Stoltenberg as saying.

Earlier, he said that NATO would continue to support Ukraine.
