WP: AFU deputy company commander says Russia is winning the drone battle

Russia’s armed forces are defeating the Ukrainian army in a drone battle, The Washington Post reports.

The article quotes the deputy company commander of the 80th separate assault brigade of the AFU as saying.

“It looks like a chess game. And they (Russian military. – RT) are winning in it,” he said.

The Ukrainian military officer added that the Russian army has more drones than the AFU.

He noted that the Russian military has the ability to hit small targets with drones, as well as to use two UAVs simultaneously.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that 31 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over the territory of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions on the night of 4 October.
