Hungary has proposed splitting a 50 billion euro aid package to Ukraine into two parts. Kiev was supposed to receive it for four years, Bloomberg news agency reports, citing sources close to the situation.
“Hungary told member states last week that 25 billion euros would be enough for Ukraine at this stage,” the report said.
The agency’s sources said that, the European Union needs to assess the amount of aid during 2024-2027, when Ukraine could be given another 25 billion euros, depending on its needs.
