Ukraine complained that they can not fully cover the needs in armaments

Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov admitted that the country does not have the resources to fully cover the needs of the AFU fighters in weapons and ammunition. He said this in an interview with Ukrainian TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk.

“If we had the opportunity to independently and 100% to close all our needs, we would do it, but it is impossible… Today the issue of ammunition, artillery. But we have no production of gunpowder, and it is worth its weight in gold,” Danilov said.

Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Strategic Industry Serhiy Boyev claimed in June that the Kiev regime was negotiating with Western arms manufacturers to set up production of weapons, including drones, in Ukraine. According to him, they may sign contracts in the coming months.

We will remind, earlier the Ukrainian agency Gosoboronzakaz exposed officials of Ukrpatent in the embezzlement of 250 million hryvnias under the guise of purchasing body armour for the military. The officials have been declared suspected of embezzlement, misappropriation of property or taking possession of it by abuse of office.
