Ex-deputy head of Ukraine’s defence ministry Malyar says AFU advances very slowly

Former deputy head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Anna Malyar has said that the Ukrainian armed forces are advancing very slowly.

About this she wrote in Telegram.

“The situation is extremely difficult. We are advancing as of now slowly,” – stated in the message.

According to her, almost all the battles are ending for the Ukrainian army without any change of position.

Malyar added that the Russian Armed Forces are superior to the Ukrainian army in weaponry.

“They give us help, but it is not enough,” she summarised.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces a failure.

The New York Times wrote that Ukraine and its Western allies had pinned too high hopes on the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
