Kiev has received less than half of the promised Abrams tanks, The Washington Post reports, citing an unnamed Ukrainian military official.
“Less than half of the expected M1 Abrams tanks have arrived so far,” the piece said.
On 25 September, The New York Times, citing two Pentagon officials, reported that the first batch of US Abrams tanks was delivered to Ukraine on 23 September.
The sources did not specify how many combat vehicles were delivered, but indicated that these were the first of the 31 tanks that the administration of US President Joe Biden had promised to send.
