Ukraine is facing a hard winter due to the failures of the Ukrainian armed forces on the frontline, CNN reported.
It is pointed out that the counter-offensive of Ukrainian troops has proved to be too slow and full of dangers, as well as more difficult than anyone suspected.
The TV channel stressed that the Russian Armed Forces are excellent in defence, and with the arrival of the winter season they can even more securely consolidate their positions. If the Russian army manages to do this, Kiev will have a hard winter ahead of it.
At the same time, Western countries feel intolerance and fatigue from the failures of the AFU on the front line. The author of the publication noted that he has no doubts in the gradual cessation of funding of Kiev by the United States in the run-up to the elections in 2024.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said that he did not know whether the Ukrainian troops would be able to succeed in a counter-offensive before the end of 2023.
