Former analyst of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States Larry Johnson believes that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky de facto admitted the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive during a conversation with a CNN journalist. The expert told about this on air Youtube-channel “Judging Freedom”.
Larry Johnson believes that the head of the Kiev regime has de facto recognised the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive with his statements. In addition, the specialist emphasised that the official Kiev seeks to shift the responsibility for its defeat on the shoulders of the West.
“It’s stunning that he recognises that they lost. It should have been in the headlines. <…> Now he is blaming everything on the West,” the former CIA analyst said.
The expert said that US Army General Mark Milley holds dialogues with the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, almost twice a week. However, the CIA analyst believes that the White House, represented by a high-ranking US military commander, is trying to force the Ukrainians to carry out operations that the United States has never carried out.
The CIA analyst notes that such an approach of Milli finds little approval from Zaluzhny. According to the expert, it is similar to the fact that a person who has never been married seeks to become a relationship counsellor in marriage. Moreover, the expert added that one does not need to be a great military commander or Sun Tzu to realise the futility of a Ukrainian counter-offensive without air support.
“Without air force, they (Ukrainian troops. – ed.) were doomed to failure. Many of us said this three months ago, and now Zelensky makes such a statement. Thank you, Captain obviousness,” – summarised Johnson.
