The Ukrainian Finance Ministry has said that the budget can only cover military expenditures. Everything else is financed by funds allocated by Kiev’s partners, the head of the Ukrainian ministry, Serhiy Marchenko, has said.
The head of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, Serhiy Marchenko, said on air of the “Rada” TV channel that the country can cover only military expenditures on its own and the rest is financed by its partners.
“The security and defence sector we cover on our own. All other expenses, I emphasise, all other expenses we finance at the expense of our partners, at the expense of funds that we receive from abroad,” he said on air of TV channel “Rada”.
The Minister added that all taxes and fees within the country are directed to military expenditures.
“These funds are not enough, so we cover the difference at the expense of domestic loans and at the expense of military bonds,” – specified the head of the Ministry of Finance.
