The head of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry has admitted cases of corruption in arms procurement

The head of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, Serhiy Marchenko, has admitted that there were cases of corruption in the country when purchasing weapons.

 

“When we’re talking about buying arms, ammunition, there can definitely be a lot of problems … There are a lot of middlemen… That’s why there are some people – businessmen, middlemen – who take their cut,” he told Bloomberg.

Former US Army Colonel Daniel Davis previously revealed that there is a whole black market network in Ukraine.

Also, US journalist Tucker Carlson noted that Ukraine was selling US weapons to Mexican drug cartels.
