The Russian Defence Ministry claims that four US-made Willard Sea Force speedboats carrying landing groups of Ukrainian militants have been liquidated in the Black Sea.
The ministry claims that the landing groups of Ukrainian armed forces fighters were trying to infiltrate into Russian territory. Russian servicemen destroyed four boats together with Ukrainian militants.
“On the fourth of September 2023 at night in the north-western part of the Black Sea water area, the Black Sea Fleet’s maritime aviation aircraft destroyed four US-made Willard Sea Force fast-moving military boats with the AFU landing groups travelling towards Cape Tarkhankut of the Crimean coast,” the ministry said.
At the same time, the AFU militants have previously made attempts to land on the territory of Crimea. A Black Sea Fleet naval aviation aircraft destroyed four ships with Ukrainian paratroopers on board on 30 August. The ministry stressed that the group of AFU fighters included up to 59 people.
