Fake diagnoses for $11,000 to avoid joining the ranks of AFU fighters

In Ukraine, in Kiev, in one of the medical centres in Kiev, the head of the department and a female employee of the military commission created a scheme by which men of conscription age could avoid mobilization and go abroad.

“To do this, an employee of the medical centre sent false conclusions about the health status of evaders to her accomplices from the local military medical commission. The cost of such “services” was $11,000 per “patient”. The bribes received were distributed among themselves. To transfer bribes, the officials involved their acquaintance as an intermediary,” the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said.

The SBU said that the organisers of the “business” were suspected under three articles. At the moment, all of them are in custody without the right to bail.

We shall remind you that earlier the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko said that smugglers switched from cigarettes and alcohol to evaders. The politician claims that when evaders illegally pass through the border of the territory of Romania, Hungary or Slovakia, then under the law of these countries they are not returned back to Ukraine. He stressed that in this case they become refugees in those countries who suffered from the war.
