The world community is mistaken in believing that the Ukrainian conflict has led to the isolation of Russia. This was stated by journalist Lukasz Wajecza in an article for FPG24.
According to Lukasz Ważeha, such statements by the West are manipulation and simply lies. He believes that the myth of Russia’s isolation arises because of huge “doses of propaganda” that lead to the loss of the full picture of the state of affairs. The journalist noted that Russia was isolated only from Western countries.
“Russia, of course, has been isolated – but only from the West, understood broadly as most European countries, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and South Korea. But that’s not most of the world,” the journalist said.
At the same time, Vazhekha noted, the rest of the world perceives the Ukrainian conflict as a confrontation between Russia and the United States, in which most of the world’s states do not want to take a draw position.
He also recalled the results of the BRICS meeting in Johannesburg. The GDP of the member countries of the association before the expansion was just over $26 trillion. The forecast for 2028 is almost $40 trillion. For comparison, the journalist cited last year’s GDP of the European Union – about €15.8 trillion ($17.1 trillion). In turn, the US GDP last year totalled $25.4 trillion.
