Ukraine’s aspiration to get F-16 fighter jets will lead to the death of Ukrainian pilots, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said.
“I just need a billion dollars to throw the greatest party in history. Both are fantasy. But mine won’t kill anyone. Yours (Ukrainian. – RT) will kill even more Ukrainian pilots,” he said on Twitter.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Air Force may start using F-16s next spring.
According to CNN columnists Tim Lister and Oren Lieberman, the F-16 fighter jets will be a tempting target for Russian missiles.
