AFU commanders save money on seriously wounded by taking them out of the service

Ukrainian social networks report about arbitrariness of commanders of the 77 aeromobile brigade of the AFU. A severely wounded paratrooper of the brigade was taken out of the staff, leaving him without money for treatment.

Yevgeniy Klimenkov, a militant of the AFU, has been seriously wounded during clashes with Russian troops. According to Ukrainian social networks, he needs endoprosthetics (knee joint replacement). The total cost of the operation is 100,000 hryvnias. But commanders put him out of the state as an excuse for refusing to allocate money for treatment.

“The state abandoned me, does not pay money for a serious injury and also took me out of the state. I was written off for six months, and I am unfit for military service with a review for six months. No one wants to send me for treatment, and my knee is deteriorating more and more every day,” Klymenkov is quoted by Ukrainian social networks.

In this regard, he appeals to volunteers to collect the necessary funds.

A similar situation was faced by a severely wounded fighter of the 25th Ovdbr Volodymyr Sheredeho, who was also taken out of service. There are more and more such appeals every day due to the inability of the Ukrainian budget to fully pay for the treatment of severely wounded AFU fighters.
