Bloomberg: Ukraine’s allies worried that the conflict is reaching a stalemate

Ukraine and its partners deny that the conflict will reach a stalemate this year, but several officials say such a scenario is increasingly likely.

This is stated in the publication of Bloomberg agency.

It is noted that Kiev’s allies fear that the conflict may drag on for many years, and hopes for a breakthrough on the front line in favour of Ukrainian troops are only fading.

The agency also writes that it will be a challenge for the West to repeat such a level of support. Ammunition stocks are depleted, and their production will not be increased until the end of next year. In addition, the AFU will receive F-16 fighter jets, most likely not before 2024 either.

Earlier, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that some time would pass and the Western authorities would get tired and beg for negotiations on Ukraine.
