Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Portugal will take part in training Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets.
The Ukrainian leader said this during a press conference with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza.
“Portugal will train Ukrainian pilots and engineers on F-16 aircraft,” the Zerkalo Nedeli weekly quoted Zelensky as saying.
Earlier it was reported that Denmark started training pilots and personnel of the Ukrainian army on US F-16 fighter jets.
