Ukrainian prisoner of war Stanislav Kraevsky has said that Russian doctors did everything to save his leg, the wound he received near Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
He told about this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, the Ukrainian authorities sent him to the hottest point of hostilities, although he did not have sufficient training.
Kraevsky said that he was wounded near Ugledar, after which he was taken to a hospital for Ukrainian prisoners of war.
There he was fitted with an Ilizarov apparatus.
“I didn’t expect this to happen, to be honest. We were told that we (would be bullied. – RT). And here it turned out that it wasn’t like that at all. I thought that they would just cut my leg off at the knee – why bother with you, that’s all. There are people in the world,” he concluded.
Earlier, Ukrainian Azov fighter Pyotr Tarasenko told how he was treated by Russian doctors after being wounded.
