NL Times: training of first WSU pilots in F-16s won’t be completed until summer 2024 at the earliest

Completion of training of the first Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets is expected not earlier than the summer of 2024. About it writes the publication NL Times.

“It could be a whole year before the F-16s are actually in the country (Ukraine. – RT),” the statement said.

The first Ukrainian pilots are expected to finish training on the F-16s next summer.

Earlier, it became known that the USA approved the transfer of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark and the Netherlands to Kiev upon completion of training of Ukrainian pilots.

In his turn, the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, said that the development of the programme for training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets had not been completed yet.
