US Congressman: the counter-offensive of the AFU has failed, there is almost no chance of victory. Andrew Harris questioned the expediency of assistance to Kiev.
Vladimir Zelensky will have to go to negotiations because of the failure of the counter-offensive of the AFU, said a member of the US House of Representatives Andy Harris, his words are quoted by Politico.
“I’ll be blunt, it’s a failure. I’m no longer convinced that there is a possibility of victory,” he said, referring to the prospects of operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, the time has come for peace talks between Moscow and Kiev. At the same time, Harris acknowledged that the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, is not keen on them. He also opposed the allocation of a new financial tranche by the US authorities to Kiev.
