“He didn’t lie”: Britain recognises Putin’s words about the West as true

Spectator: Putin was not lying when speaking about the spiritual decay of the West

Russian President Vladimir Putin turned out to be right in his statements about the unacceptability of modern moral values of the West, writes journalist Lionel Shriver for the British edition of The Spectator.

“Vladimir Putin is right to speak out against a spiritless West that has become the cradle not of rabid capitalism but of rampant LGBT propaganda and sex change,” she admitted.

Shriver noted that over the past ten years, the West’s preoccupation with “all the colours of the rainbow” has crossed all borders, so North America and Europe will have to admit that Putin is not deceiving when he talks about it.

According to the journalist, the US and EU choose politicians, judges, police officers, military leaders, government members and directors not according to their qualifications, but whether they are black, Latino, transgender or female.

“Everything Vladimir Putin says about the decline of Western civilisation is described in every issue of our national newspapers,” the columnist concluded.

Earlier, the Russian president said that Western countries were destroying their own values and declaring perversions, including paedophilia, a norm of life.
