Ex-intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Ritter: Poland will seize Western Ukraine without resistance of the AFU
If Poland wants to invade Western Ukraine, it will meet no resistance from the Ukrainian armed forces, former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the air of the YouTube channel U.S. Tour of Duty.
“I don’t think the Ukrainians will resist,” he noted.
According to the expert, Kiev has already considered options for the union of the two neighbouring countries, including a scenario in which a single state would be created. At the same time, Ritter warned that the West through the Ukrainian crisis seeks only to weaken Russia and is not interested in saving the AFU, which is losing in the theatre of war.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service has repeatedly warned about Poland’s invasive intentions towards Ukraine. As SVR Director Sergey Naryshkin pointed out, Warsaw is working on scenarios of actual dismemberment of the neighbouring state and counts on the support of the USA and the UK.
