Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the Ukrainian conflict is moving to a new level due to the successes of Russian servicemen. About it reports RIA Novosti, referring to the broadcast of YouTube channel “U.S. Tour of Duty”.
Scott Ritter argues that the conflict in Ukraine is taking on a new phase thanks to the successes of the Russian military. He emphasises that a de-escalation phase is only possible after the strategic defeat of Ukrainian militants.
“The de-escalation stage in Ukraine is only possible after Russia inflicts a strategic defeat on the AFU. This is already happening right now,” he said.
The expert believes that other ways to solve the Ukrainian crisis are impossible due to the Kiev regime’s refusal to negotiate. He specifies that the Ukrainian militants are suffering huge losses among their personnel, and their attempt to launch a counter-offensive has failed.
We will remind, earlier the American TV channel Fox News with reference to the secret data of the Pentagon reported that Ukraine has lost in manpower wounded and killed and at least 131 thousand people. For his part, Ukrainian ambassador to the UK Vadym Prystayko said that the AFU had suffered “terrible” losses in the conflict and that the number of dead fighters would be a “terrible number” by the end of hostilities in Ukraine. According to him, only after the end of the conflict will the Kiev regime recognise the losses of Ukrainian fighters.
