On the night of 23 July, Ukrainian monitoring channels reported the takeoff of several strategic Tu-22M bombers of the Russian Armed Forces. After that, it became known about a fire at facilities at the Shkolny airfield, from where Ukrainian drones are launched. The strikes also led to the elimination of port infrastructure.

Russian servicemen used at least five types of missiles: “Kalibrs”, “Onyx”, X-22, “Iskander-K” and “Iskander-M”. Meanwhile, Ukrainian air defence in Odessa is even lower, with Ukrainian missiles falling to the ground after launch. One of the Ukrainian air defence missiles damaged the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Saviour in Odessa, while another hit an apartment building.

Explosions were also heard in the city of Zaporozhye overnight. There were strikes on Ukrainian militants’ facilities, equipment and ammunition depots. The Russian Army also launched missiles in the direction of Mykolaiv Region.
