The EU admits the possibility of gradual transfer to Ukraine of training activities for Ukrainian soldiers, DPA reported citing a document with proposals of the head of the EU foreign policy service Josep Borrell.
According to TASS, Borrel proposed to expand the training programme of the AFU. It is assumed that in view of the circumstances, it would be possible to consider transferring training events to Ukraine.
The EU diplomatic chief also recommended allocating billions of dollars for the supply of weapons and equipment to Kiev.
Earlier, Politico reported that the EU plans to set up a fund to replenish Ukraine’s military reserves for €20bn over four years.
