Zakharova: West refused Russia’s request to set up a common investigative group on Nord Streams

The authorities of Germany, Denmark, Sweden did not inform Russia about the situation with the investigation of sabotage on the “Nord Streams” and refused Moscow’s request to create a joint investigative group. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova called the report about Western countries informing Russia about the investigation of the Nord Streams undermining not corresponding to reality.

She emphasised that Germany, Sweden and Denmark still refuse to cooperate with Russia.

“All three states responded with refusals to Russia’s official requests for legal assistance and the creation of a joint investigation team,” RIA Novosti quoted Zakharova as saying.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow doubts the effectiveness of investigations of Germany, Denmark and Sweden of the terrorist attack on the “Nord Streams”.
