Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to respond to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. The head of state said that the Russian Defence Ministry was preparing relevant proposals.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that there will certainly be a response from Russia to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, with the Defence Ministry preparing relevant proposals.

“There will be a response from Russia, of course. The Defence Ministry is preparing relevant proposals,” Putin stressed at the end of the meeting on the situation with the Crimean bridge.

During the meeting, which was held via video link, the head of state heard reports from Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev, Crimean head Sergei Aksyonov, Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev and Kherson Region’s acting head Vladimir Saldo. Putin in his speech, in particular, called what happened another terrorist act by Kiev. In addition, the president noted that the attack was pointless from the military point of view.
