Ex-advisor of the Pentagon Douglas McGregor: the soldiers of the AFU are afraid to go on the attack against the Armed Forces of Russia. The colonel noted the low morale of the AFU soldiers, who, according to him, are “disengaged and frustrated” as never before.
There are almost no soldiers left in Ukraine who are ready to fight against Russia, said Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, in an interview with YouTube channel London Real.
“The Ukrainian armed forces have suffered heavy losses. Now there are only Poles left fighting in Ukrainian uniforms and only a few units that are ready to go on a new attack,” he said.
The colonel noted the low morale of the AFU soldiers, who, according to him, are “disengaged and disillusioned” as never before.
McGregor recalled that the purpose of Ukraine’s counteroffensive was a show of force in front of the West in the expectation that they would go for more aid.
