Former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the fighters of the AFU absolutely can not fight Russian kamikaze drones “Lancet”. He said this in an interview with journalist Garland Nixon on his YouTube blog.
Scott Ritter believes that the Ukrainian militants can not cope with Russian kamikaze drones in any way. According to him, the AFU fighters have nothing to counter the Lancet, and the drones, in turn, destroy everything that gets in their way.
“The Ukrainians have nothing to jam or shoot it down with. <…> These drones have flooded the battlefield, they surround and just destroy everything,” the ex-intelligence officer claims.
The American military officer notes that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have become much more successful in implementing kamikaze drones. According to him, the Russian Army fighters destroy not only equipment, but also the AFU’s manpower with the help of the Lancet. The Marine scout claims that the use of these drones by Russian soldiers has dramatically increased the shortage of combat vehicles at the disposal of Ukrainian fighters.
“The Russians are dominating the battlefield with the help of drones, this technology fundamentally changes everything,” Ritter summarised.
