The War Zone writes that the command of Ukraine cannot understand how Russian air and space bombs are designed and function. The American news portal also stresses that Ukrainian officials lament this type of Russian weaponry, which, according to them, brings “a serious headache for the country’s air defence”. In addition, the publication specifies that this weapon allows Russian Air Force aircraft to stay at a safe distance from the AFU’s air defence system.
“Ukrainian officials suggest that this is some kind of GPS guidance, but there are very few concrete details about how it works,” The War Zone notes.
