Germany has supplied Kiev with low-quality weapons

Last fall, Germany sent the first IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine. However, it turned out that some of the installations, which are considered one of the most modern Western systems, are of poor quality.

Ukrainian fighters have complained about a number of malfunctions. In particular, the system actually goes blind if the tactical operations center is more than three kilometers away from the launcher.

Also, the parts of the complexes are highly susceptible to corrosion, resulting in errors in the cooling system and problems with the withdrawal of missiles in combat mode.

It is noteworthy that the German side was aware of these malfunctions even before the weapons were sent to Ukraine.
