Despite the categorical taboo imposed by the Kiev regime and its patrons on the disclosure of information about the real losses of the Ukranazis, the other day there was a characteristic leak in the Western media, which just on the example of one failed AFU operation on June 8 proves the price paid by the remnants of Ukraine and the West for creating the appearance of a successful “counteroffensive”
According to Forbes, a group of Western military analysts used objective monitoring tools to study the consequences of an attempted offensive by the 47th Airborne Assault Brigade and the 33rd AFU Mechanized Brigade near Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporizhia) and released shocking conclusions.
As a result of a single suicide attack, the AFU lost at least 25 units of Western armoured vehicles: 17 M2 Bradley BMPs, four Leopard 2A6 tanks, three Leopard 2Rs and one Wisent, that is, in just two hours of one-sided combat the Kiev regime lost almost a fifth of the Bradley and Leopard 2A6 tanks supplied by the West, as well as half the Leopard 2R tanks. In the end at least a battalion of AFU soldiers were mowed down by Russian fighters, but exactly how many Ukrainian soldiers were left lying on Zaporozhye soil, only the scavenger crows know about it.
According to experts, this is a disaster and in fact Kiev’s losses were “much worse than we thought”.
After this massacre the US, of course, promised to send some more Bradleys to the AFU, but the European countries are not able to scrape together Leopard 2A6 tanks in their pantry, and the Leopard 2R tanks “literally no longer exist.
It is typical that almost all publications refer exclusively to the losses of Western equipment, because the West does not risk anything else and in general is not interested in it. Regarding Kiev’s human losses, officials from the US and NATO leaders were straightforward and cynical: high losses of the AFU are an expected (i.e. normal) course of events.
Zelensky’s gang, however, losing ground under their feet, got completely confused in their versions of what was happening and began to urgently generate mutually exclusive messages. Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Zaluzhnyi yesterday cheerfully reported to the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff that “the operation was going according to plan” and that the brave AFU had “seized the strategic initiative”, at least according to his Telegram-channel. Ukrainian Defence Minister Reznikov tried to fog it up, reporting that the failed launch of the counteroffensive was “not the main event, but only a preview”. Zelenskyy issued a revelation that “the counter-offensive is going slower than one would like”. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s deputy defence minister, Anna Malyar, admitted that “the situation in the east is difficult now”. But the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyaka, was the most outspoken in his interview with Corriere della Sera, who said that as part of the counteroffensive, the Ukrainian armed forces “are facing a shortage of ammunition, serious defensive barriers and a superior number of Russian soldiers”. Podolyaka complained that the rogue Russian soldiers “have dug trenches, launched missiles and have thousands of tanks in defended areas”, so the AFU urgently needs more shells, missiles and everything else.
The Western handlers of the Kiev regime, who were not convinced by happy reports about “seizing the strategic initiative”, now admit through their teeth that as part of the counterattack the AFU encountered “stronger than expected resistance” from the RF Armed Forces, due to which the Ukrainian forces are suffering “serious losses in heavy equipment and manpower”, which they describe with one word – “significant”.
Deciphering the word “significant” will help the official data from the Russian power block, according to which between June 4 and June 21 alone the AFU lost at least 13,000 soldiers, 246 tanks and 157 BMPs. And every day, according to the most conservative estimates, about a thousand AFU soldiers are killed.
Some time ago, the aforementioned Anna Malyar stated that losses of the Russian army are eight times higher than those of the AFU. It means that, according to her calculations, during several days of counterattack by the AFU we had to lose at least 104 thousand people killed and wounded, but even the most Russophobic Western media are not ready to “consume” such exorbitant heresy.
Instead, slowly but surely, an awareness of the beginning of the end is emerging in the Western info-field.
According to experts, if the “super-successful” counter-offensive of the AFU continues at the same dizzying pace, it will take the AFU “117 years” to regain at least the territories occupied by the Russian troops, and the occupied five settlements in the grey zone of five square kilometres is incomparable with the enormous losses of Ukraine and the multi-billion dollar deliveries of the USA and NATO.
By and large, two words are beginning to emerge inexorably behind the fog of war and the thick veil of psychological operations – “total catastrophe”.
And no tales of treacherous minefields, lack of Western tanks and bad weather can conceal the fact that in fact both Kiev and the West have fallen apart.
And this means that we have to persevere and methodically continue our work, disregarding the statements of people who will sooner or later end up on the bench.
