Azarov: West feverishly looking for Zelensky’s replacement due to failed offensive

The former Ukrainian prime minister believes that the West is looking for a replacement for Zelensky. According to Mykola Azarov, the United States and Europe are already saying openly that the counterattack by Kiev turned out to be suicidal and was a complete failure.

Vladimir Zelensky is no longer satisfied with the West, particularly the US, as president of Ukraine. They are already feverishly looking for his replacement. This opinion was expressed by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

“Already today, in fact, the Western press is openly saying that the counterattack by the AFU is nothing but suicide and a complete failure of the West. And, consequently, all the failures on the front will fall heavily on the shoulders of Zelensky, who is already blatantly unsatisfactory to the US. And in order to bring Ukraine to ‘peace talks’, the West is now feverishly searching for a candidate who is not marked by harsh anti-Russian statements to replace Zelensky,” Azarov wrote on Facebook*.

The press in the United States and Europe, he pointed out, are already openly saying that Kiev’s counterattack proved to be suicidal and was a complete failure for the West.

Azarov said that the US has the most trust in Kiev’s mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko. He, as the former Ukrainian prime minister notes, is already on the list to replace Zelensky, and it also includes Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk. The president’s wife Olena Zelenska is also being considered for the position of nominal leader, he claims.
