Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said that another arms supply by the West is leading to an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
She said this during a briefing.
In her words, these are irresponsible steps, and such actions result in numerous casualties, including among civilians.
She also spoke out about Kiev’s initiative to hold a so-called global peace summit.
“Attempts to determine the outcome of the Ukrainian conflict without Russia’s participation, as everyone is well aware, are doomed to failure,” Zakharova said.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova said that the aggressive policy of the USA and NATO could lead to a direct clash of the nuclear powers.
