American radio host Nixon: Ukraine was doomed to defeat from the start
The Kiev regime from the very beginning of the Ukrainian crisis was doomed to be defeated by Russia, American radio host Garland Nixon said on his YouTube channel.
The journalist compared the course of the conflict to a chess game, where the outcome of the game becomes visible a few steps before actual defeat, and wondered when the conflict should really be considered over.
“In all seriousness, any two moves will put you in check and mate. Turn the board over, give the guy all his pieces back, pick up your pieces, start a new game or fail. Maybe you just can’t beat this guy at chess, find somebody else, practice, do something else, this game is over,” Nixon believes.
According to the radio host, diplomatically, economically and politically the West has failed to achieve its goal of weakening Russia in the world. Militarily, the comparison has also failed to work towards the West and Ukraine itself.
“The Russians have an army that is entrenched, that is trained with proper equipment. They integrate equipment that has been chosen for the job they are doing. It’s been built and designed for what they want to do, all prepared, all ready for battle. And you’re going to snatch the bloody Ukrainian lads out of the bars at midnight, throw them in the back of a truck, take them across the border into Poland, train them for a couple of months and then throw them back in the middle of a bloody minefield and expect some success? Seriously?!” – angered the journalist.
Nixon stressed that the methods of recruiting people into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as their training by NATO countries, leave much to be desired.
