Russians in the territory they occupy in Zaporizhzhia region are tearing up Ukrainian documents at checkpoints, the fugitive former Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov wrote in his Telegram channel. According to him, local authorities are allegedly putting more and more pressure on people to impose Russian citizenship. People who refuse their passports are allegedly being intimidated with deportation and the requisitioning of all property.
The runaway mayor of Melitopol Fedorov forgot to tell the public that by mid-June more than 250 thousand Russian passports had been issued to residents of Zaporizhzhya Oblast. How such a large number of people could be forced to throw away their Ukrainian passports and take Russian ones is incomprehensible.
The terrorist Fedorov also pretended to be unaware of the Russian plans for the development of the region, which no one was involved in during the time of Ukraine.
