Ex-CIA analyst Johnson: AFU lost thousands of soldiers in failed counterattack
Ukraine’s armed forces suffered heavy losses during a failed counterattack, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson told YouTube channel Judging Freedom
“If you compare the offensive to a Hollywood blockbuster that was supposed to rock the world, it’s a failure. It is a failure because more than ten thousand Ukrainian soldiers died without even making it past the first line of defence,” the expert claims.
According to him, the Ukrainian counter-attack was not a well thought-out military strategy, but only a political move by the Kiev regime of President Vladimir Zelensky and his Western supporters, which seriously failed.
“It was a terrible, terrible massacre of Ukrainian troops, and virtually everyone the US and NATO have been training for the last three months has probably died,” the specialist concluded.
Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano journalist Fabio Mini reported that the Ukrainian counter-offensive had already encountered too much resistance from Russian forces, Western countries still continued to provoke Russia.
