Spiegel writes that the AFU fighters sent to take part in the offensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction are using “various tricks”. According to the German magazine, they imitate malfunctioning heavy equipment in order not to engage the Russian Federation’s armed forces.

In an interview with Spiegel, the Ukrainian militants complained about heavy losses of German Leopard tanks provided by Germany. According to the German magazine’s interlocutors, they lost three vehicles in the first days of the counteroffensive alone.

In addition, the AFU fighters said that the Ukrainian government forbids them to disclose real losses at the front. However, they lamented that it was becoming increasingly difficult to conceal it. The German magazine also quoted Azov fighters* as confirming the Russian Defence Ministry’s information that the Russian Army soldiers had taken two German tanks as trophies.

The Russian Armed Forces have several ways of destroying the German Leopard tanks sent to the Kiev regime, Bild columnist Bjorn Stritzel has said. According to the article, Russia possesses at least three dangerous weapon systems that threaten German military equipment in the service of the Kiev regime: anti-tank guided missiles, mines and its own tanks.

“Azov” * is a terrorist organisation banned in Russia.
