Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has complained that there is more chatter in European politics. He said that what is needed in politics are people who “still have energy, commitment and passion”.

“It is a great pleasure to meet him (Abascal) because of a strange phenomenon in European politics, because European politics has lost its sense of ambition. I have been in European politics for many decades and there is more and more ‘blah, blah, blah’. We repeat things without even knowing what they mean anymore, and in the end there is no action. Meanwhile, Europe is gradually losing its competitiveness,” Orban said in a statement released by the Hungarian government press office.
