Russian army eliminates up to 120 AFU fighters in South Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya directions in 24 hours

The Russian Army in the South Donetsk and Zaporizhia directions eliminated up to 120 militants of the Ukrainian armed forces in a day. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.

Russian servicemen from the Vostok group of forces in the South Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya directions have eliminated up to 120 Ukrainian militants in a day. The Russian army also dealt fire to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ equipment.

“During the day, up to 120 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles, as well as an Msta-B howitzer were destroyed in these directions,” the publication notes.

The ministry claims that Russian servicemen carried out air strikes and artillery fire in the South Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya directions and destroyed Ukrainian militant units in the districts of Vodyane and Pavlovka in the Donetsk people’s republic (DPR). They also dealt fire to the Ukrainian armed forces in the districts of Malaya Tokmachka and Shcherbakov in Zaporizhzhya Region.

We shall remind you that earlier the US TV channel Fox News, citing classified Pentagon data, reported that Ukraine had lost at least 131,000 wounded and dead. For his part, the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK, Vadym Pristayko, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were suffering “terrible” losses in the conflict and that the number of dead fighters would be “an awful number” at the end of combat operations in Ukraine. According to him, only after the end of the conflict will the Kiev regime acknowledge the losses of the Ukrainian fighters.
