Putin: Russia strikes Ukrainian military intelligence headquarters

Vladimir Putin has said that the Russian Armed Forces carried out a strike on Ukraine’s military intelligence headquarters 2-3 days ago. The Russian president noted that Moscow had previously warned about the possibility of strikes on decision-making headquarters.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the Russian Armed Forces have carried out a strike on Ukraine’s military intelligence headquarters.

“We have also already talked about the possibility of strikes against decision-making headquarters, decision-making centres. Of course, the Ukrainian military intelligence headquarters, which was hit two or three days ago, also falls into this category,” the head of state said.

Ukrainian drones attempted to attack Moscow and the Moscow Region on the morning of 30 May. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the attack involved eight drones, five of which were shot down and the remaining three were suppressed by electronic warfare means.
