The possible transfer of F-16 fighter-bombers to Ukraine by the West will not fundamentally change the course of hostilities in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall made this statement at a meeting with a Washington-based group of military observers.

“This will not fundamentally change this equation,” he said, commenting on plans to deliver F-16s to Kiev.

He specified that it would take “at best a few months” for the aircraft to be handed over to Ukraine.

During the trip of the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to the G7 summit in Hiroshima, the issue of possible deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Kiev was discussed.
