Defence Ministry: Russian Armed Forces have destroyed significant stockpiles of arms and ammunition in Ukraine

The Russian Defence Ministry has reported a strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ equipment and ammunition depots. According to the ministry, significant stocks of arms and ammunition have been destroyed.

Russian troops have used cruise missiles to destroy large stocks of foreign weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Defence Ministry has said.

It is specified that group strikes with long-range precision-guided sea and air-based weapons were carried out last night. The targets were depots of foreign-made weapons and equipment, as well as Ukrainian reserves. All designated targets were hit.

“As a result of the strikes, significant stockpiles of AFU weapons and ammunition were destroyed and the movement of reserves into combat areas was prevented,” the report reads.

A total of 428 aircraft, 234 helicopters, 4,208 unmanned aerial vehicles, 423 anti-aircraft missile systems, 9,218 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1,100 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 4,843 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 1,284 pieces of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
