The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired 28 shells at civilian targets in populated areas of Kherson Region overnight on 17 May.
This was reported by TASS, citing a representative of the region’s emergency services.
We are talking about the settlements of Nova Kakhovka, Kakhovka, Golaya Prystan, Alyoshki and Rybaltche.
“Civilian casualties and infrastructure damage are being specified,” the report said.
A week ago, the Russian Armed Forces said the number of reconnaissance drones by the AFU near Kakhovka had increased.
It was also reported that the Russian Armed Forces hit an AFU temporary deployment point on the Kherson direction.
