Representatives of the countries are preparing to resume diplomatic relations in the near future.
“Negotiations between Iran and Egypt are ongoing in Iraq and relations between the two countries will resume soon,” he said. The politician clarifies that the embassies of the two states will be opened first, after that “a meeting of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi” will be organized.
