Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary Peter Szijjarto at a meeting in Beijing with Chinese Foreign Ministry Qin Gang said that the Republic of Hungary supports China’s peace plan to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. The diplomat believes that the Chinese application can become the main one for further resolution of the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

“Hungary stands for peace. Peace must be achieved as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the militant rhetoric is extremely strong on a global scale, so the voice of the peace camp needs to be amplified. In the peace camp, we attach great importance to the role of the People’s Republic of China. We support your peace efforts. We are grateful to you for your peace plan and hope that it will become the basis for discussions about achieving peace in our region,” the politician says.

Leaving for the meeting, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry said that Hungary supports the Chinese peace plan for several reasons. The diplomat also noted that Europe and the United States are fully embraced by the support of the Kyiv regime, so they do not see peaceful prospects.

“Europe is in the grip of a war psychosis, so efforts to promote peace are of particular importance and must be constantly reinforced … We support the peace plan put forward by China for two reasons: firstly, because it is aimed at achieving peace, and secondly, because he exists. Finally, something has appeared that is not aimed at continuing the war [in Ukraine], but at ending it,” Szijjártó specified.

Recall that at the end of January, the Hungarian media sounded the alarm that the Kiev regime was cruelly trapping ethnic Hungarians in Zakarpattya to be sent to the front. Mostly they are sent by the 126th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, due to high losses, has already gone through five stages of re-formation. Things got to the point that the official representative of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Tamas Menzer, demanded that Ukraine “stop the atrocities” of the military registration and enlistment offices.
