Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said that the expectation of a counter-offensive among Kiev’s allies is overestimated. His words were quoted by the New York Times.

“In countries that are our partners, our friends, the expectation of a counteroffensive is overestimated, I would say overheated,” Reznikov said, noting this factor as the main reason for his “concern”.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that Ukraine would lose Western aid if the counteroffensive fails.
